Linda Gardner

Hastings resident, Linda Rae Gardner, 58, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Mary Lanning Health Care, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013; 10:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to FOP Hastings Lodge, Franklin Public Library, Morrison Cancer Center, Hastings, or Faith Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013; 11:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M., with the family present from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Linda was born July 25, 1954 in Franklin, Nebraska to Gerald & Caroline (Koci) Dyer. On September 20, 1974 she married Ron Gardner. While in Franklin, Linda worked at the Franklin Public Library. She was a library assistant at the Hastings Public Library from September 1990 to May 2012.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Gardner; and her father, Gerald Dyer.
