Lisa I. Schmidt

Kenesaw resident Lisa I. Schmidt, 58, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at Premier Estates, Kenesaw, NE.    

Graveside Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings with Pastor Darren Olson officiating. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. with family present 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to ARC of Clay and Adams Counties. 

Lisa was born on February 25, 1966, in St. Louis, MO to Luther and Ilon (Josephson) Schmidt. She graduated from Hastings High School. Lisa was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, ARC of Nebraska, and Special Olympics. She participated in the Special Olympics and received many medals. Lisa loved watching Nebraska football. 

 Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Schmidt; and best friend, Lisa Moser.
