Lois Buss

Lois B. Buss, 73, of 4290 S. Adams Central Ave., Hastings, Nebraska, died Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, January 25, 2002; 2:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard A. Kothe officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Lois B. Buss was born January 18, 1929 on a farm near Harvard, Nebraska to Reuben & Ruby (Troedson) Erickson. She was baptized in infancy and confirmed in the Saron Evangelical Lutheran Church, Saronville, Nebraska in 1943. She attended grade school at District 32 in Clay County, Nebraska. She graduated from Harvard High School in 1946 and attended business college in Lincoln, Nebraska. She worked several years as a legal secretary. On March 1, 1953, she married Melvin Buss in Hastings. She lived on a farm south of Hastings, where she was a homemaker and was actively involved in the farming operation. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Luther Anns.

Lois B. Buss was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial may be given to Zion Lutheran Church
