Lois Hohlfeld

Former Hastings resident, Lois N. Hohlfeld, 97, of Clinton, Iowa, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton, Iowa.

Rosary will be Monday, July 31, 2006; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 1, 2006; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, all in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Hohlfeld was born February 8, 1909 in Richland, Iowa, the daughter of Earl G. & Lucy A. (Farmer) Pringle. She married Louis J. Hohlfeld on September 19, 1929 in Hastings, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2002. She and her husband owned and operated Hohlfeld Paint Company in Hastings.

Mrs. Hohlfeld was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.

Sister: Leona Mae Foster - Denver, CO
