Sutton resident, Lois D. Ulmer, 71, of 210 N. Phillips #20, died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska
Services will be Tuesday, March 28, 2006; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, Sutton, Nebraska at a later date.
Mrs. Ulmer was born March 20, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Peter & Kathryn (Schmidt) Penner. She graduated from Henderson High School and attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Omaha. She married Milton John Ulmer on May 18, 1957 in Sutton, NE and he preceded her in death on May 2001. They owned and operated Ulmer Foster Home in Geneva, NE from 1980 -1986. Then moved to Hastings in 1986. She was a Nurse's Aid at Good Samaritan Village until retiring in 2000 and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings.
Mrs. Ulmer was preceded in death by her parents, husband Milton J., and sister Edna Hiebert
