Lois F. Witt, 78, of Juniata, Nebraska died Friday, September 7, 2001, at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska following a battle with cancer.
Services will be Tuesday, September 11, 2001; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska.
Lois F. Witt was born May 29, 1923 in Juniata, Nebraska to Charles L. & Fannie E. (Pierce) Bates. She graduated from Juniata High School and was salutatorian in 1940. She received a scholarship to attend the Nebraska College of Commerce for two years in Hastings. She married George Witt on March 6, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Juniata. She was a member of the Juniata Community Church where she was church organist, pianist, choir member, financial secretary, Ladies Dorcas Circle and WCFM (Womens Christian Fellowship Member). She also was a member of the Goodwill extension club and past member of the Sweet Adelines.
Lois F. Witt was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial maybe given to Juniata Community Church
