Former Campbell, Nebraska resident, Loretta "Peggy" M. Reinking, 91, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at New Dawn Assisted Living in Aurora, Colorado.
Private graveside services will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Presbyterian Cemetery, Campbell, Nebraska with Pastor C.L. Wimer officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Presbyterian Church, Campbell, Nebraska.
Loretta was born May 14, 1919 in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska to Joseph J. & Maria (Kukla) Sturek. She graduated from Wheeler County High School in Bartlett, Nebraska in 1936. On July 1, 1939 she married Harold C. Reinking in North Platte, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2006. In 1952, they moved from Ohiowa, Nebraska to Campbell, Nebraska. She taught country school in Wheeler and Garfield Counties for six years. She also worked with her husband for 32 years as a bookkeeper for Reinking Grain & Supply until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Campbell.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold C. Reinking; grandson, Douglas "R.H." Dewitz; six brothers; and nine sisters;.
