Hastings resident, Loretta Ann Saddler, 73, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her home.
Services will be Monday, March 7, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at Evangelical Free Church, Hastings, with Pastor Jay Towell officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2016; 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. with family present at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.
Loretta was born February 6, 1943 in Hastings, Nebraska to Jesse & Bernice (Dunkle) Barnes. She graduated from Clay Center High School and college where she received her degree in dental assisting. Loretta married Ronald Saddler on April 21, 1963 at the Clay Center Christian Church. Loretta worked for Adams County Senior Services for 26 years. Loretta was a member of the Clay Center Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for a number of years. She was a Girl Scout Troup leader for 15 years. Loretta was involved in an Extension Club for 10 years and babysat in her home for many years.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Robert VonSpreckelsen.
