Hastings resident, Louis Joseph Henry, 92, of 226 N. Rhode Island, died Friday, September 21, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion.
Rosary will be Sunday, September 23, 2007; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 24, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, September 22, 2007; 6pm-9pm, Sunday, September 23, 2007; 1pm-9pm at the funeral home & Monday, September 24, 2007; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Cecilia's Centennial Hall building fund, Hastings or St. Ann's Catholic Church, Campbell, Nebraska.
Mr. Henry was born April 7, 1915 in Upland, Nebraska to Amand & Elsie (Breault) Henry. He was baptized in 1915 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Campbell. He was a farmer near Campbell, Nebraska until retiring in 1975. In 1976, he married Anna Lucille (Champoux) First in Hastings, Nebraska and she preceded him in death on July 14, 2003. He was a lifelong area resident and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.
Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Anna, two brothers and two sisters.
