Hastings resident, Lucille C. Combs, 89, of Perkins Pavilion, died Monday, July 11, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion
Services will be Monday, July 18, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Frank Kerkemeyer and Joanne Shottenkirk officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, both in Hastings, Nebraska.
Mrs. Combs was born November 30, 1915 in Clay County, Nebraska to Robert & Cecilia (Paulus) Haack. She married Lawrence G. Foltz on October 4, 1940 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1983. On February 14, 1987, she married Ken Combs and he preceded her in death on February 4, 1994. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Friendship Tea, After 5 Club, Friday's Friends, West Blue Extension Club, several quilters guilds and a past 4-H leader.
Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence Foltz and Ken Combs and two brothers.
