Lucille Roby

Hastings resident, Lucille L. Roby, 77, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at her home.

Services will be Thursday, August 28, 2014; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to American Lung Association.

Lucille was born December 9, 1936 in Ord, Nebraska to Grant & Esther (Backus) Marshall. She graduated from Ord High School and received her Associates Degree from Central Community College. Lucille married Eugene Southworth in December 1953; he preceded her in death in November 1980. She married James H. Roby on April 7, 1984 at Clay Center, NE. She worked at Mid Nebraska Individual Services, Hastings Regional Center in the kitchen, and was a homemaker.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Eugene Southworth; daughter, Becky Fetters; son, Bob Southworth; and eight brothers and sisters.
