Lucille Schrock

Former Hastings resident, Lucille G. Schrock, 90, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. John's Nursing Home in Kearney, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, October 23, 2009; 1:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Thursday, 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., and 1 hour prior to service at Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home. A Memorial will be established.

Lucille was born on July 22, 1919 at Tobias, Nebraska to August J. & Lena (Pfingston) Mussman. She married Donald E. Schrock on November 16, 1938. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2008. They moved from Ong, Nebraska to Hastings in 1984. She was Grand Marshall of Autumnfest at Good Samaritan Village in 1991. Lucille and Don moved to Kearney in March of 2008.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald E. Schrock; one daughter, Sharol Griess; one grandson, Kevin Griess; and 6 sisters.
