Lucy Schroeder

Hastings resident, Lucy Schroeder, 77, of 1951 West 7th, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Monday, January 5, 2009; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. Judith Allen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2009; 9A.M.-5P.M. & Monday, January 5, 2009; 9A.M. until service time. Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Hospice.

Mrs. Schroeder was born August 15, 1931 in Nishnabotna, Missouri to William H. & Emma C. (Vanarsadale) Worl. She married Dale Moore in October of 1955 and they later divorced. She was a housekeeper at Good Samaritan in Auburn, Nebraska. On October 6, 1984, she married Paul Schroeder and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2000. She moved from Auburn, Nebraska to Hastings in 1995.

Mrs. Schroeder was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Iva Isabell Hale; brothers, David Lee Worl, Fred Worl, Russell Worl and Dewayne Worl and husband, Paul Schroeder.
