Luther Goding

Luther Goding, 81, of 13360 S. Showboat Blvd, Glenvil, Nebraska, died Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, December 28, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Sam Rathod officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Luther Goding was born July 5, 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska to Luther L. & Effie (Peabody) Goding. He graduated from Omaha South High School in 1939. He served in the United States Army Air Corp from April 1942 until January 1946. On November 24, 1948 he married Louise Teaford in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1953. He worked at the Production Credit Association in Hastings and branch offices in Fairfield and Minden, Nebraska from 1959 to 1981. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #317 A.M. & A.F., Scottish Rite, all in Hastings and the American Legion Post in Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Luther Goding was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.

VISITATION:
Fri. 12-27-02; 9am-9pm with family present 6-8pm
Sat. 12-28-02; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
