Lynda Norcross

Hastings resident, Lynda Sue (McGuire) Norcross, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Clarkson Tower Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, May 26, 2012; 1:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Brett Mackey officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Book signing will be Friday, May 25, 2012; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. and Saturday, May 26, 2012; 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75244.

Lynda was born May 28, 1936 in Benton, Illinois to Clyde & Louise (Tedrow) McGuire. She married James C. Norcross on February 15, 1958. In 1974, they moved from Spain to Hastings where Lynda was a homemaker and seasonal manager for K-Mart.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Allen, Joesphine Foster, and Helen Piercy; and brothers, Robert McGuire, Ralph McGuire, Austin McGuire, Paul McGuire, Thomas McGuire, and Jack McGuire.
