Lysander Leo José Albert Mendez, baby boy of Elisia Mendez & Warren Albert, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 12, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with The Very Rev. Catherine F. Scott officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Dear Lysander,
Our baby Bear when we first saw your face, you stole our hearts right away. You were the perfect blend of both of us, so precious a gift from God wrapped up in blankets. Daddy held you first, we cried tears of happiness, sadness, and relief all because we got to see you. You fit so snug in my arms it was hard to let you go. You have taught us so much about ourselves and each other, you are the reason our love is stronger. We love you so much, all of the family was there to meet you, and they all love you so much. Everyone held you and loved you. It's hard not to be sad that you left us so early, we understand it was your time to go. We want you to know we are so blessed that you chose us to be your parents. You brought hope, faith, and so much light into our lives. This isn't goodbye but it's see you later. Give Grandma Robin lots of love from us. You will always be in our hearts every day and night.
