Madalane Anderson

Hastings resident, Madalane Anderson, 86, of Perkins Pavilion, died Monday, April 17, 2006 at Perkins Pavilion.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2006; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Neil Vik officiating. Private family burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Bruning, Nebraska at a later date. No visitation or viewing.

Mrs. Anderson was born October 16, 1919 in Pratt, Kansas to Albert & Vina Belle (Gilham) Heflin. She attended Pratt Junior/Senior High School, Pratt, Kansas. On September 14, 1940, she married Charles L. Anderson in Brighton, Colorado and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1989. They moved to Chicago, Illinois and then to Great Bend, Kansas. In1950, they moved to Hastings, Nebraska and later to Strang, Nebraska for 12 years, where she was the school's custodian. They returned to Hastings, Nebraska in 1988.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles; daughter, Diana Scheierman; brothers; Charles Heflin, Sammy Heflin & Johnny Heflin and a grandson, Larry Miller Jr.
