Margaretta Stubbe

January 3, 1924 — October 15, 2008

Ayr resident, Margaretta M. 'Toots' Stubbe, 84, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Saturday, October 18, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2008; Noon - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

Mrs. Stubbe was born January 3, 1924 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Herman M. & Sophia M. (Goldenstein) Rothfuss. She graduated from Hastings High School and married Bill Stubbe on February 6, 1943. She was a homemaker and a life long Clay & Adams County resident. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, embroidering and writing letters to family and friends.

Mrs. Stubbe was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
