Marguerite Pfeiffer

Marguerite Pfeiffer, 100, of Perkins Pavilion, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Monday, March 12, 2001; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Jeff Hale officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull, Nebraska.

Marguerite Pfeiffer was born September 30, 1900 in Adams County, Nebraska to G. Grant & Adeline (Smith) Halsted. She graduated from Hastings High School and taught at Adams County District #54 for 1 year. She married Elvin J. Pfeiffer on September 20, 1919. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1964. She was homemaker and a volunteer at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and a charter member of West Blue Friendly Circle Extension Club. She was a past treasurer of the Geneva District United Methodist Women's Society and was active in the Corsage For Missions project.

Marguerite Pfeiffer was preceded in death by her, husband; Elvin J., a son Kenneth, 1 brother and 1 sister.

W. Dean Pfeiffer - Arlington, VA Grandchildren: 7 Great Grandchildren: 11 Sister: Beulah Ochsner - Sutton, NE

Memorial maybe given to First United Methodist Church or Perkins Pavilion

Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
