Marie Foote

Hastings resident, Marie Kealy Foote, 92, of Village Dr. #17, Lochland, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at her home.

Rosary will be Sunday, April 11, 2004; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Memorial Mass will be Monday, April 12, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Private family interment prior to Mass in Parkview Cemetery, all in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Foote was born January 4, 1912 in Hastings, Nebraska to John Francis. & Adeline (Mitchell) Kealy. She graduated from Hastings High School. Marie married Dr. Donovan B. Foote on June 21, 1934 in Hastings, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Altar Society, Chapter 'G' P.E.O., Infant Welfare Club, served on the board and was chairman of Adams County Red Cross and also served on the board at Sunnyside.

Mrs. Foote was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dr. Donovan B. Foote, Sr., three brothers and five sisters.
