Marie Timmerman

Hastings resident, Marie Ann Timmerman, 83, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, September 4, 2014; 1:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor John Whitsett officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Marie was born November 30, 1930 in Lexington, Minnesota to Joseph H. & Anne (Hrachovina) David. She married Otto Fred "Pete" Timmerman on February 7, 1950 in St. Paul, Minnesota; he preceded her in death on March 17, 1966. Marie worked for numerous businesses before she retired from OK Café as a cook.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Otto Fred "Pete" Timmerman; son, Rodney Timmerman; grandson, Charles Timmerman; granddaughter, Megan Vap; three brothers; and four sisters.
