Marie Vacek

Hastings resident, Marie A. Vacek, 58, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. David McCarthy officiating. Private Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Book signing Tuesday, April 14, 2015; 9:00 A.M-5:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to the Marie A. Vacek Memorial Fund.

Marie was born August 8, 1956 to Edward and Ramona (Lambie) Vacek in Hastings, Nebraska. She graduated in 1974 from Hastings High School and attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln. She was office manager at Duane's Welding, and was employed at the Smith Softball Complex and the City Auditorium.
