Marilyn Borden

Hastings resident, Marilyn R. Borden, 79, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her home.

In honoring Marilyn's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Private family graveside services will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Goodfellows or The Salvation Army.

Marilyn was born January 17, 1934 in Hastings, Nebraska to Otto Michael & Frieda (Wagner) Stromer. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1951. Marilyn married Veryl Borden on December 31, 1951. She was a bookkeeper for Juniata CO-OP; retiring in 1990 after working 22 years.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; Veryl Borden; daughter, Debbie Borden; and son, Steve Borden.
