Marilyn Kelley

Hastings resident Marilyn Kelley, 81, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020, at her home.

Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings.  A Celebration of Life is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Paul Warneke officiating. There will be no visitation or viewing.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.

Marilyn was born July 3, 1938, to Jacob Lofing Jr. & Clara (Kottwitz) Lofing in Hastings, NE. She was baptized, confirmed, and married at Zion Lutheran Church in Hastings. Marilyn graduated with the class of 1956 from Hastings High. Marilyn married Harold Kelley June 13, 1956.  She loved spending time taking walks all around town with Harold and of course shopping. Marilyn worked for Herberger's department store for almost 20 years. Her greatest joy was always her family.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and beloved sister, Wilma Kennedy, and brother-in-law, Bob Kennedy.
