Marjorie Adams

Hastings resident, Marjorie L. Adams, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her home.

Memorial Services will be Monday, April 7, 2014; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Dustin Bower officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Start Over Rover or Special Children's Fund at Mary Lanning Healthcare.

Marjorie was born January 3, 1930 in Cozad, Nebraska to Leland S. & Bonnie (Claypool) Strever. She married Allen C. Adams on August 20, 1950; he preceded her in death on June 11, 1996. Marjorie worked at Sears in Lexington and was a receptionist at The Kensington in Hastings. She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Marjorie loved black and white animals, flowers, baking, and talking with family and friends.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Allen C. Adams.
