Marjorie Beard

Marjorie M. Beard, 84, of 510 N. Kansas, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at her home.

Rosary will be Sunday, January 2, 2005; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 3, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Ramon Decaen officiating. Burial will be in Red Cloud Cemetery, Red Cloud, Nebraska.

Ms. Beard was born October 8, 1920 in Hebron, Nebraska to Harrison & Mary (Burbach) Beard. She moved to Red Cloud, Nebraska with her family in 1922 and attended Red Cloud schools, graduating from Red Cloud High School in 1938. After graduating, she moved to Hastings, Nebraska where she graduated from Hastings Business College. She was employed by K & R Inc., United States Naval Ammunition Depot, Clarke's Oil Company, St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and Bosselman's, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, its Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America and the Adult Choir.

Ms. Beard was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Memorial may be given to St. Cecilia's Catholic Church

VISITATION: Sun. 1-2-05; 1pm-9pm
Mon. 1-3-05; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
