Mark Hupf

Hastings resident, Mark D. Hupf, 50, of 2632 West 2nd, Apt #1, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Monday, March 24, 2008; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 25, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Sunday, March 23, 2008; 3PM-9PM, Monday, March 24, 2008; 9AM-9PM at the funeral home & Tuesday, March 25, 2008; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.

Mr. Hupf was born February 25, 1958 in Hastings, Nebraska to Dale L. & Marilyn L. (Parr) Hupf. He graduated from St. Cecilia's High School in 1976. He worked for various companies including, Burlington Northern Railroad, Friends Motor Supply and Motion Industries. He was presently employed at Husker Power Products. On April 23, 2003, he married Suellen Hord. He was a board member of St. Cecilia's Alumni Association, past board member of Hastings Catholic Activities Association and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Hupf was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Carl & Edith Hupf and Peter & Bertha Parr.
