Mark Vincent

Hastings resident, Mark A. Vincent, 46, of 1255 North Adams Central Avenue, died Thursday, January 24, 2008.

Rosary will be Sunday, January 27, 2008; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Funeral Rite will be Monday, January 28, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. A second service will be Thursday, January 31, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home, Seymour, TX. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Seymour, TX. Visitation will be Saturday, January 26, 2008; 5PM-9PM, Sunday, January 27, 2008; 1PM-9PM at the funeral home and Monday, January 28, 2008; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to a Scholarship Fund for the children's education.

Mr. Vincent was born November 9, 1961 in Seymour, TX to J.D. & Emagene (Decker) Vincent. He graduated from Lockney High School, Lockney, TX and received a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration from Texas Tech University. He married Jeanette 'Jett' Johnson in Lubbock, TX on June 8, 2002. They lived in Lubbock, TX and Des Moines, IA for a short time before moving to Hastings, NE in 2003. He attended St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and was a member of Leadership Hastings and Noon Rotary. He was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
