Marvin DeVaughn

Hastings resident Marvin K. DeVaughn, 95, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, NE.

Memorial Services are 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, at Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings with Pastor James W. Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Marvin was born August 10, 1922, in Harvard, NE to George & Fayetta (Schuppan) DeVaughn. He spent his adult life selling men’s clothing in Harvard and Hastings at Linn’s Clothing, Ben Shermans, and Allen’s.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Chester and Calvin.

Several nieces and nephews will miss him.
