Marvin was born December 7, 1947, in Hastings, NE to Harold and Hazel (Nolting) Habel. He married Mary Dedrick on June 11, 1966. Marvin was a kind and onery man who could hold a conversation with anyone. He spent his life alongside his wife and best friend, Mary.
Marvin was a hard worker all his life. Primarily a sheet rocker in Hastings, always eager to boast about the beautiful houses he was working on. He also spent time working in the oil fields of Oklahoma, and NAC of Hastings. In his later years he played a momentous role in the upbringing of his grandchildren. Marvin was known as a safe ally to the friends of Zac and McKenzie. He was the man people went to when they needed a favor. Marvin also enjoyed summers with his grandchildren from Texas. His golden years were spent with his wife, dogs, and lots of desserts.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Habel; and son-in-law, Kevin Gragg.
