Mary Bermond

Former Hastings resident, Mary M. Bermond, 86, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at her residence in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Graveside Services will be Friday, January 30, 2015; 1:00 P.M. in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings.

Mary was born August 29, 1928 in Hastings, Nebraska to Henry & Bessie (Pottorf) Andrews. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1946. Mary married Laurence Bermond on May 12, 1978; he preceded her in death on June 6, 2002. She worked as a cosmetologist and credit manager. Mary loved spending time at her farm and lake home. She loved gardening, traveling, painting, arts and crafts, playing piano, shopping, and most of all, family time.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband; Laurence Bermond; daughter, Connie Buchanan; and brother, Richard Andrews.
