Mary Bolte

Hastings resident, Mary Bolte, 95, of Perkins Pavilion, died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Perkins Pavilion.

Rosary will be Thursday, November 20, 2008; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 21, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19, 2008; 9:00 A.M.-9:00 P.M., Thursday, November 20, 2008; 9:00 A.M.-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home and Friday, November 21, 2008; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Cecilia's Catholic Church Endowment Fund.

Mrs. Bolte was born May 13, 1913 in Hollenberg, Kansas to Charles & Josephine (Barta) Lorenz. She graduated from Singer High School, Singer, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and St. Joseph's Nursing School in Houston, Texas. On August 31, 1948, she married Ernest L. Bolte in Milligan, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1985. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1952 and was a Nurses Assistant at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and a past member of Crosier Apostolate and Altar Society.

Mrs. Bolte was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest, six brothers and five sisters.
