Mary Connely

Hastings resident, Mary Jo (Mullen) Connely, 81, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Thursday, August 26, 2010; 7:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 27, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh and Msgr. Ivan Vap officiating. Private family burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. There will be no visitation. A book signing will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Hastings Catholic Schools Trust or Friends of Hastings Public Library.

Mary Jo was the daughter of the late Neil & Ruth (Pierce) Mullen and was a native of Hastings. Mary Jo was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter GK and was also an active community volunteer.
