Mary DeVaney

Hastings resident, Mary V. DeVaney, 93, of 1400 N. Kansas, died March 3, 2002 at Good Samaritan Center, Nelson, Nebraska.

Memorial services will be Thursday, March 7, 2002; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Barry Rempp officiating. No visitation or viewing. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mary V. DeVaney was born May 24, 1908 in Hastings, Nebraska to George & Nina (Bell) Springer. She graduated from Hastings High School and married Walter DeVaney. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1983. She was a homemaker and a member of First Congregational church, Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She was a life long Hastings resident.

Mary V. DeVaney was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter, a son, George and 1 sister, Ruth Swigle.
