Mary Drudik

Mary Alice Drudik, 89, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Good Samaritan Society- Perkins Pavilion- Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Tuesday, July 5, 2011; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 6, 2011; 10:00 A.M. at St Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Father Michael Houlihan and Monsignor Adrian Herbek officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lawrence, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2011; 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. with family present from 5 P.M. until rosary to receive family and friends at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be given to the Mary Alice Drudik memorial fund.

Mary Alice Drudik was born May 14, 1922 in Nuckolls County, near Lawrence, Nebraska to Adolph & Josephine (Kotinek) Mazour. On May 1, 1944 she married George Drudik at Sacred Heart Church, Lawrence, Nebraska. George preceded her in death on June 13, 1991. Mary was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and altar society in Hastings. She was a past member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and altar society, Deweese, Nebraska; and Sacred Heart Catholic Church and altar society, Nelson, Nebraska. Mary was a homemaker and lifelong area resident. Mary's family and grandchildren were very important to her. Her hobbies included sewing, baking, gardening and flowers.

Mary Alice Drudik was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Drudik, grandson, Jeff Soucie, brother Everett Mazour and sister Libby Nejezchleb.
