Mary Kathman

Mary E. Kathman, 89, of Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska died Monday, July 26, 2004 at Perkins Pavilion.

Rosary will be Wednesday, July 28, 2004; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 29, 2004; 10:00 A. M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Ms. Kathman was born January 14, 1915 in Nuckolls County, Nebraska on the family farm near Mt. Clare, Nebraska to William H. & Theresa (Lutkenhaus) Kathman. She moved to Hastings in 1935 where she did housecleaning, worked at the NAD during WWII and worked at Metz Bakery for 23 years. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Ms. Kathman was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Louise Kline and 4 brothers
Alfred, George, Eugene and Edmund Kathman.

Survivors include,
Brother: William F. Kathman - Lawrence,NE
Sisters: Helen King - Piru, CA
Emma Kathman - Superior, NE
Numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial may be given to St. Cecilia's Catholic Church Renovation Fund

VISITATION: Tues: 7-27-04 5pm-9pm
Wed: 7-28-04 9am-9pm
Thur: 7-29-04 1 hour prior to service at the church.
