Mary Lowe

Mary Agnes Lowe, 90, of 910 North Hastings, Hastings, Nebraska died Thursday, June 10, 2004 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Requiem Eucharist will be Tuesday, June 15, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral, Hastings, Nebraska with The Very Rev. Richard J. Martindale officiating.
Private family interment at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation as Ms. Lowe was cremated.

Ms. Lowe was born January 24, 1914 in the small farming community of Oakland, Nebraska to Irving & Anna (Renard) Kerl. She had an older brother, Thomas and a younger sister, Jean. She graduated from Oakland High School. She attended St. Mary's College in South Bend, Indiana and graduated from the University of Nebraska. She then went on to business school for a year. She was employed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nebraska as his secretary. She married Stephen G. Lowe on June 30, 1952 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1998. In 1953 her children Ann and Stephen were born. She has lived in Hastings since 1952 and has been a member of Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral since then.

Ms. Lowe was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stephen G. Lowe Sr. and a brother Thomas Kerl.
