Mary Sadd

Harvard resident Mary Gaye Sadd, 66, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, NE.

Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 20, at Harvard United Methodist Church in Harvard with Pastor Buck Linton-Hendrick officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Harvard Cemetery in Harvard. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Mary was born September 13, 1955, in Los Angeles, CA to Don & Clella (Hise) Van Tuyl. She was a resident of Harvard where she was employed as a librarian at the Harvard Library. Mary was a devout member of the Harvard United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, reading her Bible, and watching true crime shows. Mary was very involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives and activities, she loved being a grandma and a role model in her Christian walk.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Van Tuyl; and granddaughter, JayLee Therese Sadd.
