Mary Schmidt

Mary C. Schmidt, 80, of Hastings, Nebraska, died Saturday, October 25, 2003, at her home.

Rosary service will be Tuesday, October 28, 2003; 7:45 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 29, 2003; at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska at 10:30 A.M. with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mary C. Schmidt was born November 16, 1922 in Trumbull, Nebraska to Myron & Agnes C. (Frasier) Rader. She graduated from Trumbull High School in 1939. She married Raymond J. Schmidt on February 21, 1950, and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2001. She was retired from the Adams County Treasurer's Office. She was a lifetime resident of the community, and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Mary C. Schmidt was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond J. Schmidt, and a sister, Janet Soucie.
