Matthew Gottsch

Hastings resident, Matthew Robert Gottsch, 32, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at his home.

Services will be Thursday, January 26, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at Evangelical Free Church, Hastings with Pastor Matt Sass and Pastor Andy Springer officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Matthew R. Gottsch Memorial designated to Make-A-Wish Foundation. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church.

Matthew was born September 26, 1984 in Omaha, Nebraska to Robert "Bobby" & Cindy (Mau) Gottsch. He graduated from Adams Central High School in 2003. Matthew was a farmer in the family business. He attended Evangelical Free Church.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bobby" L. Gottsch; grandfather, Robert Mau; and grandparents Bob Gottsch, Sr. & Lois Gottsch.
