Max Hofmann

June 29, 1933 — April 14, 2006

Max Eugene Hofmann, 72, of 1540 Highland Dr. , died Monday, April 10, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Friday, April 14, 2006; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, with Rev. Dr. James Cooke officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, both in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mr. Hofmann was born June 29, 1933 in Hastings, Nebraska to Eugene & Mary Cameron (Milroy) Hofmann. He graduated from Hastings High School and from Hastings College. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from August 27, 1953 until June 3, 1955. After his discharge, he taught at Sutton High School and later was associated with Fred Spady Motors in Hastings for several years. He then became an architectural consultant for Griffith and Associates, Hastings, Nebraska. He was a life long area resident and member of Masonic Lodge #50, A.F & A.M. and 32nd Degree Scottish Rite.

Mr. Hofmann was preceded in death by his parents.
