Hastings resident, Maxine Ann (Rose) Fiegelson, 79, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Memorial services will be Thursday, January 20, 2011; 2:30 P.M. at Peace Chapel at Perkins Pavilion 100, Hastings with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Crossroads of Hastings.
Maxine was born February 12, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan to Max & Melvina (Kuhn) Rose. She graduated from Everett High School in Lansing, Michigan and then attended Michigan State University for three years. On August 17, 1952 she married Art Fiegelson; they later divorced in 1975. Maxine moved with her children to Hastings in 1975. She worked at The Clarke Hotel, Martin Luther Homes, Martin Luther Gift and Thrift, and Pioneer Corn as a sorter. She was a volunteer at Crossroads. Maxine enjoyed playing cards and board games, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going to casinos with her son and daughter in her last few years. Maxine had a special sense of humor that will be greatly missed.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill Rose; and brother-in-law, Dick Pratt.
