Maxine Keim

Hastings resident, Maxine Combs Keim, 93, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at The Homestead, Hastings, Nebraska.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012; 10:00 A.M. at Parkview Cemetery with Rev. Dr. William Nottage-Tacey officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 18, 2012; 1 P.M. - 5 P.M. at Butler Volland Funeral Home.

Maxine was born September 25, 1918 to Thomas & Mattie (Cooper) Combs in Bostwick, Nebraska. She married Melvin Rader on May 26, 1934 and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1961. Melvin and Maxine moved to Hastings in 1948. Maxine married Louis Keim on July 27, 1962 and they moved to Nelson. In 2008 they moved back to Hastings. Louis preceded her in death on December 5, 2009. Maxine's interests were quilting, crocheting and traveling.

Maxine Combs Keim was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Melvin Rader and Louis Keim, brother, Jerry Combs and sister, Mildred Miller.
