Michael Ellerbee

Former Hastings resident, Michael B. 'Mike' Ellerbee, 50, died Sunday, July 11, 2004 in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Services will be Friday, July 16, 2004; 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. William G. Nottage-Tacey and Rev. Dr. Carl W. Utley officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mr. Ellerbee was born March 13, 1954 in Amarillo, Texas to Morris B. 'Buck' & Zelma P. (Pillers) Ellerbee. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1972 and then attended Oklahoma Christian College in Edmond, Oklahoma. He married Linda Metzger on December 17, 1977 in Pawnee City, NE. He was associated with Abbotts Dairy in Hastings, NE from 1976 - 1983. He owned and operated The Laundry Shoppe from 1984 -2002, he was also employed with Century 21 Real Estate. He was employed by Fleetwood Homes after moving to Oklahoma City. He was the Past President of Hastings Chamber Ambassadors, Past YMCA Board Director, Past Director of Hastings Board of Realty, member of Hastings Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, NRA, Four Rivers Sportsman Club, First Presbyterian Church and actively involved in the Hastings Midget Football program, which he was the coach for the Charges for 10 years.

Mr. Ellerbee was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Thur: 7-15-04 9am-9pm at LBV Funeral Home - Family present 6pm - 8pm
Fri: 7-16-04 1 hour prior to service at church
