Michael Oye

Hastings resident, Michael Gene Oye, 56, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at his home.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, June 4, 2016; 1:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Michael was born August 9, 1959 in Hastings, Nebraska to Harold W. & Sylvia A. (Meents) Oye. He worked at Metz Bakery until his retirement. Michael was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, NRA, Wildlife Foundation, Pheasants Forever, and Car Club.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
