Michael Watson

Grand Island resident, Michael David Watson, 49, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Bryan Medical Center East, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Friday, June 30, 2017; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastors Buck and Bonnie Linton-Hendrick officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Michael was born October 4, 1967, in Hastings, Nebraska to Jerry L. & Maxine (Anderson) Watson. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1987 and graduated from Central Community College with degrees in graphic arts and marketing.

Michael worked in telemarketing. He enjoyed Dungeons & Dragons and had a love for zombie movies. Michael was a jokester and always made people laugh.

Michael was preceded in death by his father.
