Michael Weeks

Juniata resident, Michael J. "Mike" Weeks, 67, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home.

Services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, Hastings with Rev. Tessa Zehring officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Juniata Cemetery, Juniata. Memorials may be given to Juniata Cemetery Association. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at First United Methodist Church in Hastings.

Mike was born July 15, 1949 in Hastings, Nebraska to Gaylon & Yvonne (Brown) Weeks. He graduated from Juniata High School and attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln for three and one-half years. Mike married Christal R. Krebs on March 19, 1971 in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mike farmed in the Juniata area his whole life and was a member of Rosedale United Methodist Church. He was currently serving on the Adams County Board of Supervisors, and also served on many other boards and affiliated committees throughout his life.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gayle Witt.
