Michell Heuertz

Former Hastings resident, Michell "Mickey" M. Heuertz, 64, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Monday, August 22, 2016; 7:00 P.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016; 10:00 A.M. both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland with Father Jonathan Haschke officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2016; 1:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. and one hour prior to Rosary and Mass at the church.

Michell was born March 28, 1952 to Raymond & Rita (Wilson) Miller in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Crete High School in Crete, Nebraska and went on to graduated from Fairbury Junior College School of Practical Nursing in 1972. Michell was a LPN at Hastings Regional Center for many years.

Mickey was preceded in death by her step father, Glen Oldre.
