Michelle Fergus

Former Hastings resident, Michelle K. 'Shelly' Fergus, 34, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Methodist Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska.

Memorial services will be Monday, July 7, 2003; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Doug Griger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Michelle K. 'Shelly' Fergus was born April 23, 1969 in Hastings, Nebraska to Stephen W. & Nancy K. (Stilson) Fergus. She graduated from Hastings High School and worked at Martin Lutheran Homes of Nebraska before moving to Omaha, Nebraska in 1999. She was a care giver for Bethphage in Omaha. She moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa in March of 2003. She was active in Habitat For Humanity in Omaha and a past member of First United Methodist Church, Hastings, Nebraska.

Michelle K. 'Shelly' Fergus was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alice & Ralph Stilson, grandfather, Ralph Fergus, and a cousin, Nicholas Fergus.
