Milo Rutherford

March 15, 1928 — March 30, 2002

Milo A. Rutherford, 74, of 2403 W. 5th, died Saturday, March 30, 2002 at NHS Clarkson Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska.

Services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Kathleen Kasper officiating. Burial with Military Rites by Hastings veterans organizations will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Milo A. Rutherford was born March 15, 1928 in Hastings, Nebraska to Lester & Fauvette (Martin) Rutherford, He graduated from Hastings High School and served in the United States Coast Guard from February 12, 1946 to April 18, 1947. He was the Gas Inspector for the City of Hastings for 34 years, retiring in 2001. He was also a photographer and a gun smith. He married Leanne Doering on September 29, 1962. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Eagles, American Legion, V.F.W., UCT, Safari Club International, Four Rivers Sportsman Club and a life member of NRA. He was a life long Hastings resident.

Milo A. Rutherford was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 1 sister and a granddaughter.

Son & Daughter-in-law: Jay B. & Janel Rutherford - Colorado Springs, CO
Grandchildren: 2 Drake Rutherford
Madison Rutherford
Sister: Kay Parenteau -Minneapolis, MN
Sister-in-law: Joan Rutherford - Boulder, CO
